James is the Director of Advertising Partnerships at Unity, the world’s leading platform for creating and growing real-time 3D (RT3D) content. At Unity, James leads pivotal global initiatives at the intersection of mobile gaming and the programmatic ecosystem, with a particular focus on the Unity Audience Hub. This privacy-first data collaboration platform allows brand marketers to reach Unity’s 3 billion global users through high-intent, curated audiences across mobile and CTV.


With over two decades of experience scaling global technology businesses, James is a specialist in navigating the complex challenges of identity, addressability, and data privacy. His career has been defined by a commitment to transparency and the development of sustainable media landscapes. Prior to Unity, he served as the Chief Revenue Officer at Optable, where he was instrumental in pioneering data clean room solutions that now underpin Unity’s own audience infrastructure.


His leadership background also includes a significant tenure as Executive Vice President, International at Index Exchange, where he spearheaded the company’s expansion across EMEA and APAC, building one of the world's largest independent programmatic exchanges. Earlier in his career, he was the CEO of Datacratic, a pioneer in real-time bidding (RTB) and machine-learning infrastructure.
